Nick and Mick are respected elders of Australian blues, roots and country music, and for me to experience a 'behind the scenes' peek into the creation of their new album "Songs From This Town" was an opportunity not to be missed as a filmmaker. 

Melbourne musicianship is as strong as anywhere on the planet, and these craft makers we have in our own pubs and clubs should be celebrated and heralded. These creative musical moments or milestones in time are as historically important as they are creatively beautiful to listen to, it's important to record these, not just on 'tape', but also on 'film'.
